In short this contemporary YA debut novel is thought-provoking, emotional and touches on many issues.  Lillian is a likeable protagonist and I enjoyed reading her story.  I especially liked the way that the story is told and that it doesn't shy away from the trials that Lillian faces.  Due to the references of drug use/drug dealing/sex and mature language and themes, I would say that this book is marketed at the NA market and would suit 16+ readers

Sci-Fi is not my thing, but this is...

I went into this having not read any reviews or the synopsis; I didn't realise that it was sci-fi which is totally not my jam. However, I actually really liked it. 4 stars due to the somewhat clunky writing at times but I'll definitely read the rest of the series as my whistle has been wet - more Daemon please! I love a cocky asshole

I've been waiting for this series to come to KU and its finally arrived. Really enjoyed book 1.

Lana is out to get revenge after 10yrs - holy smokes, Batman! Not for the faint of heart, this book is equal parts adorable and grusome. Bizarre combo but it totally works. My favourite line is "I have two kills to plan, a boyfriend to see, and a best friend to un-piss off. And not in that order. I’m just the typical American woman. Or is it the typical American Psycho?" Pretty much sums up the book! How Lana made me laugh...

Gorram cliffhanger!

OMG my favourite of the series so far, and that cliffhanger! Wow. The Scarlet Slayer has ramped up their spree and Logan is onto them...a couple of heart in mouth moments and that ending sheesh. Cannot wait to read book 5 later!
