This was...not good. There were a lot of unbelievable scenarios, to the point of being irritating. The characters were very dim witted, and it felt like the author was trying to make them quirky but the execution wasn't right. The dialogue is very cringe and unrealistic. There was too much going on. I am really disappointed because I thought I would really like this, but I cannot get past the tropey, juvenile characters. It was just a hot mess.

This was ok. I really wanted to like this one, but the characters were boring with no personality, and I feel like there wasn't enough coziness to the setting.

This book was full of hilarious shenanigans and larger than life characters. I was literally laughing out loud while reading it.

Once again, the protagonist, Charlotte, is very unlikeable. Her asides come off as snide instead of observations, and she doesn't have much of a personality. The story dragged too much for my taste. Because of all this, the ending wasn't as thrilling as I would have liked. I've given this series three books, and I am officially done. I do plan on try the author's other series.

I decided to give this one a try even though I thought book 1 was just ok. The protagonist, Charlotte, is very unlikeable. She gets irritated at others for doing certain things and then turns around and does the same behavior. Most of this book was dialogue, and there was a lot of telling and not a lot of showing. The premise was a bit far fetched, and by the end I just didn't care anymore. I do plan on trying the author's other cozy series, but this one just fell flat for me.
