This is a charming beginning to a new cozy mystery series! Lyndsay is a relatable, endearing protagonist. I love that she is independent and loves her family and culture. I love that this followed the cozy mystery framework but included diversity about the family's culture and food! Family is important in this one, and I adored that. The food descriptions were to die for, and I love that we get recipes in the back of the book. I highly recommend this one!

I don't really know how to rate this. I expected a cozy mystery set at an Irish castle set within a traditional cozy framework. This is more like women's fiction, not a cozy. The "murder" mystery was very much in the background of the main plot of two cousins who butt heads over an inherited farm and must learn to work together to make it work. Rayne was a very irritating protagonist. She is very stereotypical Los Angeles, and she comes across as out of touch, oblivious, and a bit vain. I enjoyed watching Rayne and Kira's relationship develop as they get to know each other. The setting only felt Irish when the characters were talking while I was listening to the audiobook. The writing was great, and I did enjoy the descriptions. I just feel like this was advertised to the wrong market. I will definitely try more books by this author.

This is such a fun series! The mystery was so fun and well plotted. I love the characters and all of their antics. I missed some of the entertaining banter between Tess and Sheriff Boyd in this one, but I still enjoyed this book so much. I cannot wait for book 3!

This was a FABULOUS start to a new cozy mystery series! I loved the setting of Sugar Ridge, Vermont, and I loved Leila as a protagonist. The characters were so great, and I loved the plot of the mystery! I cannot wait for book 2!

This was a pretty good start to a new series. I loved that our protagonists are twins with psychic abilities. It had the right amount of paranormal to keep it fun, and I did enjoy the characters. I loved the setting and their Book and Candle shop. I felt like this was a bit too long, but that could be because I didn't connect with the characters as much as I usually do. I will definitely continue with the series and cannot wait to see what happens in book 2!
