So many reviews are like “they only got together because of physical attraction” like, no, they got together because Jordan cared about Abby, held her hand on the plane, cared about her hopes and dreams, and they had mutual shared interests and backgrounds. And also, yes, Abby was physically attracted to Jordan when she clearly had no physical attraction to her fiancé.

Ladies is it gay to fall in love over drinking iced lattes together, a shared passion for statistical methodology and data visualisation, and a shared experience of taking SSRIs?
This is the best sapphic romance ever. The slowest of slow burns, just two women coming to care deeply about each other without anything happening for two thirds of the book, then the last third is them slowly integrating their lives together. Like, the last third is what most books would pack into just the final chapter and an epilogue. It’s so sweet, so real, and so nerdy. I love it.

Overall very enjoyable, but with a few issues. It sometimes felt a bit repetitive, with similar plot points recurring, and the main character’s inner monologue sometimes grating.

When the love interest was like “get therapy immediately” I was like, yes please do.

The main character also has the absolute worst taste in movies, and also hates the best ice cream flavour! And yet was still endearing.
