JASE 😍 that is really all.

This might be my favorite in the whole series. The fake dating is just *chefs kiss* and Miles might be one of my new favorite book boyfriends. I know this is clearly a Christmas book, but I think it would be the perfect read any time there's snow on the ground! The holiday bingo challenge, the cabin/lodge setting, the coworker status... really just everything about this was just so sweet and so perfect. This is kind of an instant love situation, which normally I don't like, but it was just fitting here. This might need to be a re-read for me every winter!

Short & (very) sweet read. I'm a sucker for the forced proximity trope and an overprotective MMC, so you already know I was HERE for this read. Can all holiday books be like this one?

I wanted to love this one, but the CIA aspect of it all was a little too cheesy for me. It's like if Hallmark (no shade) made a spy romance... predictable and out of nowhere. I didn't read the blurb, just dove right in because it was the next in the series for me. If I had expected it, I probably would have liked it a lot more. It felt like a weird turn in the series for me. Still very sweet and I liked everything but the spy aspect by the end!

This book was the perfect ending to the Christmas Escape series, but would also be fine as a standalone. MMC's name was Rhys, so I spent the whole book picturing him as a European Rhysand from ACOTAR so that may have added to my reading experience 😂 This was a sweet, clean Christmas romance, but the tension between the two was still there!
