Honestly, I knew what I was getting into. What I didn’t expect was how little plot or general storyline occurred. Maybe it was just me, but this felt like we were throwing in trigger after trigger to make our point in an almost exploitative way.

This book was so cute, but absolutely for someone looking for a character-driven plot. There was so much description of what was going on that it created an incredible atmosphere... but felt like nothing was moving quite as quickly as I expected. I see why people love this so much, though! Definitely one I'll come back to on an emotionally rainy day for a dose of healthy relationships/communication and cozy vibes.
I forgot how much I love this book… and it’s even better in audio format 😍
slow-paced
ngl i really wanted to love this one. The concept is so fun, but I kept wishing it would move faster and end sooner. Perhaps the audio format just wasn't for me, even though it has a full cast.
fast-paced
Didn’t go where I expected it to, which was entertaining. If you’re looking for a fun, quick read for winter/the holiday season, this fits the bill! Def read it for the vibes only, though.
is a book on cleaning about to make me cry? absolutely.
i have yet to implement any of the ideas here, but just reframing how i approach care tasks/cleaning and organizing has already made a world of a difference. I cannot operate under the weight of not only what I need to do for my job and school, but also under the guilt and shame i place upon myself.

Truly somehow nothing is happening. Like we started off strong, but then it just stalls for 50% of the book. And you know what? I don't even care how they died anymore. I just want this to be done.
i don't come to thrillers for an uplifting or emotional time, but dang... this one provided that. there are few characters i've cheered for quite as hard as these women.
