it's interesting to read the actual development of rice's writing and the difference between  each book in this universe. plus the gorgeous expansions to such a fantastic world.

I greatly enjoyed the book. it added more context to what was presented in the film. i'm not typically one to try and over rely on one for of media over another but i think the book and film are both quite good in this case, the later stating very true to the story while not being bogged down by the minutia Tolkien adds to the book. the minutia in the book is good but does keep it from feeling faster paced and a bit more challenging to keep details straight.

to those loyal to books before film i apologize for talk of the film, but it was my entrance into such an amazing world. it is also the reason i felt it high time i read the original material.

i will be honest. i don't remember a lot of this and felt i reread a lot of paragraphs, but did not comprehend the most. i read this of my own will but felt i was meant to be reading this as a class assignment.

there was a mix between seeing the satire of the book and feeling slightly offended? my main sentiment was "is this literature or was this written by a man."

Very good but very dark collection of plath's poems.

A good book to read at the end of the calendar year. It talks so much about the cyclical nature of seasons and the ratings between birth, growth, death and rebirth.

I was not expecting to learn so much about One Direction. Overall very informative about the greater world of fandom and the way that generations of fans have shaped the fan spaces that we all know and  love today... except twitter... i mean X. It shows the relationships between fans that existed before and after the internet age, and highlights the fact that they often were perceived in so many of the same ways.

I think better than the predecessors. this one seemed to portray way more accessibly than the previous two. there were moments where i was a bit confused by the wording or the weird way that the plot tried to interact with character development and seemed to cause a disconnect. over all a good story. could've used more kinky, like the previous two books but still a book read overall.

this book got really rough at the end. very annoying and i wouldn't even consider the character development for the main characters very deep. they felt very shallow people, and the blue balling of talking about books ended early on. also if i read the word beaver, or snuffie, one more time i will burn something down so help me all that this world is!
