I want to read this book but i’m moving too slow….not pausing because i would like to start over when i come back to it.
my boss lent this to me for a work project but then before i could finish he took it back to lend to the PR person :( have not seen it since
i think this is gonna have to be an eye read
i have to accept that i probably just couldn’t enjoy this after having so recently read Into the Raging Sea by Rachel Slade. if i had read this first it probably would have worked well for me, but it’s just hard to go back from a shipwreck story that was able to have so many details included.
Michelangelo's Notebooks: The Poetry, Letters, and Art of the Great Master
DID NOT FINISH: 20%
u know what? idk why i’m reading this
this is just too dense for my brain to process right now. i’ll be back.
I find this book interesting enough and I want to love it but….the constant jumping through timelines is just too confusing for me. I like non-linear but going decades back and forth so often over a few pages is just too hard for me to keep up with.
I went for the audiobook but i should have gone for the ebook
i am just reading too many depressing books atm i should not have added another
I insisted on starting in the beginning of the Hainish Cycle despite what commentary online said, but I was wrong. I will try some of Le Guin’s later work. Her writing is beautiful but I just can’t get into the stories here.
