idk i think now’s just not the time

i couldn’t get into the lack of quotation marks/lack of structure around conversation. 

i thought the authors name was familiar and when i looked it up i realized i read some of her work as a teen and i was just as not-into-it then

I really tried, and I was interested in the content but the author’s writing style isn’t for me. Feels a bit like they had a thesaurus propped open next to them. I think there’s enough jargon and unfamiliar vocabulary in science non-fiction, I found myself more and more annoyed each time I used the look-up feature on my e-reader just to learn another unnecessary $5 word added into the mix. 

Too much WWI not enough mountain

I had a hard time following along with it - I may just not have a good base knowledge of the war and politics between other countries. 

35% and then 15%. i just can’t follow the story??? i am perpetually confused. (audiobook.  maybe i need to try reading)
