Hated the romance, literally skimmed full pages of smut. Just here for the politics.

In the first half of the book, the essays seemed to connect to each other, though loosely, but in the second half, it just felt random . I don't think this is the fault of Lauren Graham herself but I feel like any good editor would have ordered the essays differently.

I think this book was a little too fast paced - Eurydice went from not trusting Orpheus to touch her to allowing him to touch her within less than 24 hours.

I loved this book and now I'm just so sad ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ knowing there won't be a happy ending really doesn't help, it just makes me more hopeful that I can somehow will it to end differently
