I'm a little confused why The Thirteen can't just overturn the clause like they are the government they make the rules. Otherwise a fantastic book.

This could have been an amazing book, but unfortunately, reading it felt like trying to climb out of a twenty foot pit with my bare hands. I think 100 pages could have been shaved off easily and while I acknowledge the endless rambling was meant to be like a sign of Theo's mental state or whatever, I don't know if all of it was necessary.
