Thank you to Netgalley, Lex Coucher, and St. Martin's Press for giving me access to this book (two years ago, oops, just figured out the archive) in exchange for an honest review (unpaid).

Gwen and Art Are Not in Love is a fantastic dual pov queer love story set in a medieval-esque time with wonderful tropes like enemies to friends and an arranged marriage/fake dating trope combination. I loved all of the main cast, and I swear Lex Croucher stole my identity to write Gabriel.

Thank you to NetGalley, Deborah Underwood, and HarperCollins Children's Booke for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review (Unpaid).

This was a fun twist on a well known tale that children are sure to love. There are not many stories that take on the perspective of the fairy godmother and only one that makes the fairy godmother a private eye mouse, and it was super fun!

Thank you to NetGalley, Liann Zhang, and Atria Books for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review (Unpaid).

Julie Chan is Dead is a intoxicating tale of mental illness, the costs of fame, and mystery. I was immediately sucked in by Zhang's writing, almost as if I was becoming a Belladonna myself. And the ending! Oh my god, the ending. It was perfect.

Thank you to NetGalley, Aisha Saeed, and Random House Publishing for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review (Unpaid).

The Matchmaker is an incredible story about family, work-life balance, and love (in all shapes and forms). The mystery had me on edge the entire time I was reading (and every time I had to set the book down), and while I caught the big twist pretty early, I still loved watching everything unravel.  The backstory about Nura's parents felt a little unnecessary since nothing came out of it.

I'm crying about this book at 12:30 AM and if that doesn't say enough, I don't know how to explain how important and meaningful this book was for me. I cried with Fern, I screamed with Fern, I dreamt with Fern - all of the girls really. My heart aches for them because they are real, they exist, they are out there mourning a choice they didn't get to make.

It took me a long time to come back to Grady Hendrix after Horrorstör but I'm glad I did.
