This was a romcom with a lot of feels. There were some very heavy topics in this book, including death, kids' losing their parents, hospital. There was light banter and enemies to lovers that did work to help tone down the sadness, but it was definitely not a "lighthearted beach read" if that's what you're looking for.

I would highly recommend this if you’re a fan of the Wilder family already! If you’re just starting out, you can absolutely read it without missing too much, but I do think you’ll have a better experience overall if you start with the other brothers’ stories (which I definitely recommend doing!).

This was a fairly slow burn romance, but with some definite heat in the second half. I loved Mari’s growth in this story, from a wild, free spirit to a Wilder through and through. And Kane is just… swoon… the ultimate cinnamon roll.

For Butter or Worse was a quick romance that I would recommend to fans of enemies-to-lovers, fake dating, and reality TV/cooking shows. It takes place around fall/Halloween, so I think it would be a perfect read for fall!

This audiobook was perfection. Both narrators were incredible and I really enjoyed that it was dual POV and narration. While I don't typically love the "You've Got Mail" type of retellings, this one was done SO WELL that I actually adored it. There was no "you've been lying to me" - just a simple acceptance that it was meant to be. There was plenty of enemies to lovers banter, and I loved both the chronic illness and neurodiversity rep. Chloe always does an incredible job with both, so I'm not surprised. This was a great "Christmas in July" read, so feel free to enjoy it anytime of the year! ;)

This was a good one, but not my favorite from Chloe Liese. I don't know if I just haven't read many age gap romances or if this one really took the "I'm too old for you" to the extreme - but it just felt like to much to me. Like he's going to keel over dead in the next month (at what, 35?) and couldn't possible leave his lover alone without him... insert eye roll here. I get it, I do... but it seemed like overkill sometimes. I do love Ollie's sunshine to Gavin's extreme grump though, and of course I'll continue to read anything by Chloe. If Goodreads could finally lets us have half stars, this would be a 3.5.
