I really enjoyed this small town romance with a bit of mystery thrown in. Maggie is a strong, independent woman who loves to flip houses and then move on to the next town to start over again. Silas is the Hot Landscaper who falls in "love at first sight" and then has to convince her to stay. That alone would make for a fun beach read romance, but Lucy Score took it a step further to make it a perfect read. There's also a bit of mystery regarding a very old bank robbery, which will keep you guessing till the end. And the secondary characters... I could read a book from the perspective of just about anyone in this story, and I could definitely stand to see more of the adorable animals!

I honestly have such mixed feelings about this book. I wanted to love it, I'm fully aware I was reading an ARC and that there may have been some things that were fixed later. But it felt like it needed a few more rounds of editing before calling it the final draft.

But on the other hand, the story was fun, and I loved the airport meet-cute. It was also super steamy, which is a tick in the pros column. I think once I got about halfway through and was more invested in the story I was able to ignore the little things that kept taking me out of the story, so it's worth a read if you can look past that! I'd give it 3.5 stars, but will round up to 4.

The Bodyguard is a really fun romcom about a famous movie star and the executive protection agent assigned to him while in town to spend time with his sick mother. There are some laugh out loud moments, but there are also some feels on both Jack and Hannah's side even before they start to realize that there are feelings between them.

The audiobook narration was fantastic and I will definitely listen to. more from this narrator. She did a great job voicing Hannah and the rest of the characters.

I'm a sucker for fake dating, so it should come as no surprise that I really enjoyed The Wedding Crasher. After crashing Dean's wedding to his bride-of-convenience, Solange is presented with an unusual opportunity. Dean needs a girlfriend to help make partner at his law firm. There is so much fake dating in this book that it felt a tiny bit unrealistic, but let's be honest, when does a romcom ever feel like it's 100% true to life? So just sit back and enjoy!

This is a lighthearted but steamy romcom that will have you flipping the pages as fast as you can. Enjoy it at the beach with a margarita, or sitting at home in the AC - either way, you'll laugh and probably roll your eyes at some of the shenanigans the characters find themselves in (but not in a bad way). I can't wait for more from this author!

This was one of those "can't put it down, need to read just one more chapter" books that had me reading up late into the night when I should have been sleeping. I really enjoyed the dystopian setting - it's been a while since I've read a good one and this fit the bill. But not only that, it's also a steamy romance featuring a fake marriage. As if I needed more reason to read it...

Overall this was a pretty short book and I would have loved to have seen some more detail fleshed out about both the characters and the world-building. I was still able to follow everything just fine, but it had more of the feel of reading a novella than an actual full length novel, which was the only thing that kept it from 5 stars.

If you're a fan of dystopian, steamy romances, pick this one up!
