I really enjoyed this book! It's exactly what I wanted from a Buffy-verse novel. From the familiar characters to the snark and banter, it felt like returning to a world I've loved. I'm really excited to continue the series!

Josh and Gemma Make a Baby was a cute read and I binged it all in one day! I really enjoyed the neighbor dynamic between Josh and Gemma, but do wish the brother's best friend had been played up just a little bit more. I loved seeing Gemma navigate her infertility journey and that she didn't let her past/current relationship status stand in the way of her dream. Gemma's relationship with the other man (purposely vague because of spoilers) was definitely cringe (though I'm sure that was the intent), but I was happy the person we least expected ended up being in Gemma's corner in the end.

I really enjoyed this historical romance, with a brother’s best friend style trope. The chemistry was spot on and it was such a fun read, visiting all of the establishments on their nightly agenda. Highly recommend this read and can’t wait for more!
