This was my first by J.T. Geissinger, which just means I have an entire backlist to catch up on! I adored this book. I went into it not knowing much, and I think everyone who reads it should do the same, but this book was emotional and full of angst and grief. But in the best possible way, that makes you keep turning the pages and staying up too late, ignoring the adulting to be done.

This was a fun read with only a little of the feels... I really enjoyed it and need to check out more by the author!

Wow, this book... the age-gap was great - I adore the slow build and while the "I'm too old for you" plays a part, it doesn't feel long and drawn out. I also like that they genuinely become friends, his grumpy to her sunshine (or maybe we'll call her mostly sunny) and while there may have always been an attraction between them, it wasn't the immediate dive into something that often happens.

I do wish she would have broken up with him sooner instead of lying about where she was and the fact that she was clearly emotionally involved with Thayer even if not physically at that point (forgetting about the hotel thing, because that was an unconscious act).

I will say that the ending of the book had me floored... I understand why this wasn't made more obvious a TW as it's obviously a huge plot twist that you're not supposed to see coming. I was accidentally spoiled by some fan art though, but when I got to this part it was STILL too much.

Overall, I really loved this angsty, romantic read. There are LOTS of feels, many TWs (don't sleep on these, they're pretty intense), but it was a book that really worked for me and my mood at the time.

The concept of this novella was cute - the Vega's birthday. But the timing of it was weird, because it's supposed to be during the events of Cursed Fates, but it was never mentioned at all, which seems odd.

And while I LOVE Geraldine, reading almost a whole novella from her POV was a little overboard with her crazy phrases and way of thinking. Like she was

downright nasty to the heirs when they tried to have their own small party, and yet that would have been perfectly aligned with what the girls would have wanted and would have gone a long way to showing them that the heirs are not all they seem. Darius was absolutely crushed by her words, and it made me ache for him.

I know Geraldine was just being herself and didn't even realize what she was doing, but dang...

I do really love that the heirs and Vegas are getting along now, and finally working together though. This is the progress I've been needing for the last few books!

But if they take this guardian bond all the way, I WILL RIOT! Please... don't do this...

Overall, still loving the series, but the sisters sure are good at making you ache, feel all the heartbreak, and have anxiety over these cliffy endings... OMG...

Ruthless Boys is still my favorite series of the Solaria world. This review will contain spoilers for the series, as you should have read them before getting to book 4 anyway.

We were left off with Leon and Elise making their star match... and honestly, reading through this book, it's obvious that he was the ONLY one that could have gone first in order for the entire match to have worked. He has complete golden retriever energy and he just loves everyone in his Pride so much it's adorable. I also LOVE that Elise was able to join a Pride and have the familial love that she really didn't have growing up with anyone other than Gareth. It's so wholesome and I just love her Lion for that.

This was a great continuation of the story - while much of it really did focus on the star bond and how that affected Elise's relationship with her other Kings, we do find out more about what was going on with Gareth and make some major leaps by the end of the book. There's still a lot more to be discovered, was he successful?!? Who is this King person, anyway?! And when will we FINALLY get to see the star bond completed with all of her Kings?! *because let's face it - we know it's coming... this is a RH after all...*

Once again, while I hate it, I will give the sisters props for their cliffy ending and leaving us with the burning need to keep reading. Thankfully I'm late to this world, so I'm able to just keep on going - I don't know what I'll do once I'm caught up and waiting on new releases!

I'm a big C.R. Jane fan, and this one didn't disappoint! It was an angsty taboo step-brother bully romance, fairly slow burn, with some definite chemistry/attraction from the very first time they met. It starts out when the MCs are just 16, but the story progresses over the next 2 years. I loved this one, but beware, it ended on a cliffhanger and I'm aching for the next book immediately!

Apparently this is a Pretty Woman type story - I've never seen it... while I enjoyed some things and totally loved James, I wasn't a huge fan of the whole escort thing. I loved the relationship between Natalie and Aubrey though. The ending was maybe a little rushed? But reading the follow up companion [b:Say Yes|50265563|Say Yes|Lucia Franco|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1581812320l/50265563._SY75_.jpg|75184509] is basically like getting the epilogue that should have been included in this book.

I will continue to lover every single thing about Madison Kate and her boys. This was a perfect extended epilogue to see what actually went down in Italy when she got hurt and things happened with Seph. I also LOVED that she finally got to

The diamond plot was definitely an afterthought, but it was nice to see her making progress with her company anyway. I will never have enough of these characters...
