We're back in Copper Lake, Wyoming with the best dang group of cowboys!
Xander comes to Copper Lake to help out his aunt on her farm while she has surgery. After the cutest classic meet-cute, he finds out his savior Copeland is not only extremely kind and attractive, but his new neighbor. Cope has always lived the cowboy and rodeo lifestyle, but he's never felt that special connection to another person. That is until he meets Xander. Xander is only in town for a short while, but Cope can't stay away.
Cope and Xander are a really sweet couple. Xander is a small business owner from the city while Cope is a born and raised cowboy. It's a bit of a slow burn but they have such a solid (yet flirty) friendship that everything is just so good when they get together. While complete opposites, they are both at the same point in their lives where they're ready for their next step, their next adventure.
Their relationship wasn't overly dramatic, there's no miscommunication or any high angst situations. They are upfront with their feelings and work together to figure out how to make their relationship work with the distance. Honestly, I just wanted more of them!
These guys are a real fun group of friends who support each other, even if they're being sweet but silly idiots. There seems to be a set up or two in the works and I'm excited to see who's next to fall in love in Copper Lake.

Sawyer, Gideon's agent and ex from The Handler, and Adam are both fresh out of rehab and run into each other when they least expect it. Turns out Sawyer owns the baseball team Adam has just been signed to. They have a rough start but slowly start a secret romance full of hot passion and absolute need for one another.
Sawyer and Adam both are very codependent and pretty needy, which makes them perfect for together. Sawyer needs constant reassurance that he's wanted by Adam, their age and physical differences playing a role in this insecurity. Adam just needs Sawyer near him at all times, as in he can't go three days without seeing him without losing his mind - and good thing it's Sawyer he's obsessed with and he can buy all the plane tickets because Adam's job as a baseball player doesn't make it easy. I kinda love it, they are both aware they are kind of insane but don't care because they want each other so much. Their chemistry is wild, two dominant guys fighting and surrendering to one another.
August Jones writes some of my favorite spice and these guys were no exception! This is my go to author when I want a little more spice in my life. I love characters who have this crazy need for one another and don't care, and this was perfect. Also loved the Gideon and Jax cameos! Before I looked up the next characters and I was thinking skipping the poly romance for now, but the blurb looks too intriguing.
