You don't get to use your past trauma or mental health issues as an excuse to be a dick to people and that's a lesson the MC really needs to learn in this book. Rhi is kind of toxic and is not ready to be in an adult relationship. The way she treats Samson is terrible. The book wasn't all bad though. I was impressed with the amount of backstory and development each character got. There were some nice steamy scenes. As always dual POV in romances are superior.

I don't know why I disliked this book. Maybe it was the writing style, the disconnected various POVs, or the reveal of the killer so early in the book. I watched the Netflix movie prior to reading the book and that probably also skewed my opinion (although I didn't like to movie either!).
I think there was a lot more potential here and it fell a little flat.
Looking forward to giving Perkins other "YA thriller/horror" a read to see if its any better.

Another read in the Bromance Universe. I didn't find this one as captivating as the others. I LOVE Vlad but big parts of this book were cringy and kind of unrealistic. I think it was the Russian journalist aspect that threw me off. Still a good read and I will keep picking up anything by this author.
After getting about 1/3 way through I had to give up. Nothing happened! I was so bored and couldn't even force myself to keep reading. Kind of disappointed.

If Hallmark made cheesy Halloween movies, this would be one of them. I mean that as a compliment. This was the cozy fall read I needed. It may have been totally predictable and corny and the characters were vastly underdeveloped but I don't care. I could pick it up right now and read it again front to back. I LOVE THIS BOOK 💖

The desire to move to Denmark is strong after reading this one. I found it very informative. However, the chapters followed the same structure every single time which made it a bit repetitive. Also, I wasn't a huge fan of some of the language the author used.

Another great Sager read, however it isn't quite on the same level as the others. Although fast paced, mysterious and thrilling I found quite a few issues/things I didn't like. Slight spoilers below...
Not a fan of the back and forth point of view, only because it wasn't done soon enough or often enough. When it started happening I felt a bit of whiplash. When we get Marge's first POV it makes ZERO sense to her plot/storyline. Some of Charlies "movies" were hard to distinguish between real life, which I understand was kind of the point but just made parts of the book confusing. I HATED the last 4 pages that took place in the future. I truly think it ruined the ending of the book.
