I found this to be just mediocre modern poetry. Just felt a bit like a rip off of other more popular modern poetry books out there. This one had some themes I did not enjoy, which includes religion, and I also thought some of it was contradictory. Not my fave.

I literally could not put this book down. I HAD to know what happens and was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I found myself actually terrified at moments and holding my breath. Another great read from Sager

I loved this book! My 3rd Sager read and I am hooked. Lots of mystery, definitely didn't see the twist coming.

This book is a HOT MESS from beginning to end! I just know this book was written by a conservative republican woman who hates other women. Not only was this book kind of sexist, slut-shamey, homophobic and racist, it was trying way too hard to perpetuate the ideal that the only thing that makes people happy in life are either romantic love or a successful job. The only reason I gave it two stars was because I definitely got some laughs out of it. I would NOT recommend this book to anyone. It's flat out offensive to anyone who isn't white (I guarantee this author has never had a full blown/real conversation with a POC or someone in the LGBTQIA+ community ) and perpetuates terrible stereotypes, one after another. The characters have ZERO depth and at times make no sense. I'm staying far away from these authors in the future.

This book was close to a 5 star read for me! It just missed the mark with a few criticisms. Loved the story, the whole Final Girl trope is definitely one of my favorites. However, I felt some of the plot to be predictable and honestly I really wanted more backstory/flashbacks of the cabin. They were too short and sporadic. I also thought the last couple pages were corny! Beyond that, great book!

This book was wild! So many dark twists that I never saw coming. I really enjoyed reading however there were too many open ended questions that led me to not rating it higher...
-How did Adam know so many of the intricacies in the house? For a moment, it seemed like he had been there before but he hadn't?
-Who did Robin have an affair with? Or was Amelia the one who had an affair?
-What the hell was up with the whispering of the persons name in the cellar and in the graveyard at the end?
-Was Robin just batshit crazy? Based on the investigators telling's at the end, I'd say yes.
-Why the hell did Adam kill Amelia if he was the one who ran his mother over? That was a secret they shared together! If anything, I'd think that would have brought them together.
-What did "killer" on the tomb stone mean? Robins mom? Blaming Amelia's death on him? Seriously, so confused!

After 3 of the stories I decided to call it quits. I know its YA but I expected better writing/prose. I also hated how different each story was, bouncing around from genre to genre. The food aspect felt forced. Great idea, but poor execution in my opinion.

What an interesting and fast paced read! I devoured this book in just a couple of hours. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see how the ending would unfold. I definitely did not guess it. I liked the short chapters however I did feel like the characters and the story was a but underdeveloped just because of how short it was. Maybe I'm selfish, but I wanted more from this. Not a bad read and was more fun than I anticipated.

This book was a mess from start to finish. The premise was great but I wasn't a fan of the writing.
