This is the worst book I've read this year. It's not a romance and definitely not a comedy. This is just a bunch of fatphobia jokes wrapped up and portrayed as "inclusive" and romantic. 

I've seen so many mixed reviews on this. Not being Jewish myself, I thought there was a lot of great representation in this book, I liked the explanation of religious activities and family. However, I wasn't huge on the idea of a romance from summer camp at age 12. I didn't feel as big of a connection with Jacob and Rachel, they barely spent time together. There was a lot of repetitiveness on the summer camp aspect and not a lot of development on their current relationship. 

At the end of the day, it was a fun and fast paced holiday read. Definitely not for everyone. 

A very easy breezy holiday romance. Nothing in this book is too hard hitting, the conflict is light and easy. However, the characters are lovable and it's a fast paced read. 

This has me laughing out loud and falling head over heels for Dr. Adam Carlsen! 
This was witty and intelligent and made me really believe in the relationship. I loved this book and will come back to it again in the future. 

I think this is almost TOO much story. That sounds a little insane but it's just so many storylines and history and background that I lost interest very fast and it became unrelatable. A former international model/billionaire/widow works through her trauma of a blackmailing father, child abuse, and a kidnapping to fall in love with her body guard. Like, come on, that is so absurd! Not to mention that the bodyguard comes with his own history/trauma. I get that it develops the characters but it becomes so overwhelming. 

Overall, there are some cute parts and in the end was happy to see everything work out. There is one more book in the series and I'll give it a read but this is definitely not my favorite take on a modern romance series. 

Cute, funny and a quick read. If you're looking for something to power through in an hour or two pick this up. It's not too deep or emotional and provides the perfect amount of fluffy love story. This could have been a fantastic 5 star read if the author put a bit more thought into character and story development. It was far too short and surface level. Still a fun read though. 

I didn't care for any part of this book that wasn't Hannah and Garret together. Their back stories were terrible, traumatic and boring at times. Their chemistry was super cute and fun and that is what made me stick with this book but it was rough at times and I did skim lots of backstory

I just want to curl up in this book and live forever! Lovely and detailed writing that makes you feel like you're there. I loved every single character, the story was well developed and the spice was 10/10. Cannot wait for the follow up book.
