As a Michigan girl, I was hooked from the very first page. Unfortunately around 50% through, this fell apart for me. I became so uninterested in the story and characters. Maybe it was too long or repetitive. Not sure. Just felt like the story was going nowhere.

I think this is the best in the series so far. Both main characters are deep and complex, the story has the most heart and it flowed nicely. My only hesitation for a 5 star was about the last 10% I got a little bored. Felt like it could have wrapped up sooner.
