This was just alright. Very well written but felt plotless at times. 

This is my new favorite book. I'm not sure how Emily Henry does it, but she captures the human experience so perfectly. Everything feels so real, so possible, so full of emotion. I enjoyed that this book tackled some very heavy topics such as

depression, loss of a parent and grief

 
Emily Henry is the best fiction writer of the current times and I don't even feel bad about saying that. 

I loved the humor and love story in this! Much better than The Love Hypothesis. However, the end definitely jumped the shark. 

Witty, fun and quite the adventure.

While I enjoyed the overall idea of this, the execution wasn't for me. The plot felt scattered and so slow until it wasn't. The last 5 chapters go by in a blink. I think this could have benefitted from being a longer book by about 50-100 pages. 

I loved the humor and by the end did fee quote attached to a few characters. 

A gritty and honest portrayal of loss, grief and vengeance. This was so well written, I was absolutely engrossed in this novel. Ike and Buddy's relationship is so refreshing and well developed. One of the best books I've read this year. 

If you love a slow burn this is for you. It's SO slow! I love the romance, very spicy, very fun. But also, the copaganda is too much for me ... And omg the suggestion of getting a badge tattoo made me cringe so hard. Not sure if I'll keep going with this series. 

Super funny but didn't hold my attention as much as the first book. 

The dullest "thriller" I've ever picked up. 

WHAT?!? The ending of this is insane. Like makes the whole read so worth it.

However, this book is too long....come on SJM, these first two books could have been 3. 

Unfortunately, this Tessa Bailey book was not for me. I couldn't connect to the story line or the characters. I had high hopes because the premise is so cute but it was a drag to get through. 

I would have liked to see more back and forth with the letters. There were so few that it did nothing to add to the story. The characters had so little chemistry, and a lot of it hinged on Julian just wanting to have sex with Hallie. Where was the emotional connection!?!? 

Also the final act disagreement was nonsensical.
