Maas is a master at character development and world building. This book is jam packed full of plot. Beautiful relationships and a satisfying ending. I appreciated the mystery and this book kept me guessing until the end, lots of twists.

Not a huge fan of the urban fantasy aspect and i truly believe this could have been shorter and still packed a punch.

An important story that gives a voice to the women who often don't have one. This was a powerful read that left me heartbroken. I fear this story is all too common among women of all cultures.

I enjoyed the multiple POVs and time jumps. However, a few of the chapters were repetitive.

Well that was dramatic and maybe a bit predictable. Did I know the ending only after 3 chapters in, absolutely! Did I still binge this book in one day, sure did! If you love domestic thrillers and court room dramas this is for you.

I am having a hard time deciding how I feel about this book. I was horrified, intrigued and disgusted. The ending left me a little confused/unsatisfied but I also thing answering the question of is it all real or not would have also been unsatisfying.
informative inspiring fast-paced

I agree with every point made in this book. Amazon is an awful corporation and we should resist it if possible. However, I don't think the onus should be on consumers.
informative slow-paced

Required reading. Basic and could find better or similar information anywhere else.

DID NOT FINISH: 12%

I forced my way through 100 pages and had no idea what was going on. I know this is becoming quite the beloved book, but it's not for me.

A gorgeous depiction of love and loss. Evelyn Hugo is a complex character who you get to know deeply throughout the pages of this book.

One dimensional characters with very obscure back stories. I appreciate the the author was trying to set up this great universe similar to Jasmine Guillory, but I think this fell so flat. I didn't care about any of the characters or the story. Honestly debated DNFing this but it was short enough that I powered through.

This book gave me lots of laughs and the relationship was cute but I was just left with wanting both more and less. Some parts were so repetitive and then I felt like the author could have focused more on the independence or Rina's relationship with her late mother and conversely Prems relationship with his family and late fiance.
