Can't believe this is from the same author as Red White and Royal Blue. This was kind of bad. The premise/plot is such a good idea but the execution is terrible. It drags a lot, the chapters are way too long and honestly I didn't really like Jane that much as a lead. The ending was okay but it was hard to enjoy because the lead up was just bad.

Loved the story and the characters but it was so rushed. Or it wasn't paced correctly. So much felt repetitive and then the end just got thrown in my face.

Maybe I'm falling out of love with romances, or maybe this was poorly written. Not for me.

This was so disjointed and boring. Which is very disappointing because it's a VERY important story. I just disliked this so much, not sure if it was the editing, the writing or the dual POV.

August might be my new favorite book boyfriend 💖 I loved this story so much more than the first in the series. Tessa Bailey really is hit or miss. But her hits are perfection!

The production on this is so great that I can overlook any of the writing down falls. Did the Unhoneymooners need a sequel, definitely not. But this happy little read was everything I needed right now. I enjoyed the immersive experiences.

Not the best Sager and definitely not the worst. I loved the atmosphere and the twists, however a lot of this was very convenient and that bothered me.

This was nothing like I expected. I went into this thinking it was about the current couple that lived in this apartment/cottage and I was kind of right but also very wrong.
The story was good as far as thrillers go. I was expecting a bigger twist at the end. The mystery was really easy to figure out.
One critisicm for the audiobook, the narrator doesn't do a good job at switching her voice around for different characters. We get POV from 5 characters, 4 of which are women. They all sounded the same, which lead me to lots of rewinding and relistening to sections just to figure out who is talking.
