I enjoyed these novellas much more than The Bane Chronicles!! There was (imo) more character growth and depth to these. I also felt like these had a much clearer point and that they added more to the series than the other collection of novellas.
This one is going to be tough to review because even though I enjoyed it for the most part I really did have a lot of issues with it???
It was a great ending to the series. It had to same cozy vibes that I loved with the first two but there were just certain aspects that really got under my skin.
Matthew kind of got on my nerves, the Gallowgass twist was so unnecessary and even though Benjamin was the bad guy in the book he was just a little too problematic for me, like there are lines and I think they were not necessarily crossed but definitely stepped on?

Still so good!! I know people give this one a lot of crap bc they think it's slow/nothing happens but I just love all the growth and development that happens so much??? Plus Nikolai like hello??
