This one was so much fun!! My biggest issue with the first book was the pacing and everything moved so much faster in this one.

LB has done it again!! Loved the grisha/magical take on some fairytales. So well done.

Rereading to mentally prep myself for the netflix series, and I somehow managed to love it even more the fourth time around ;)

One of the most beautifully written and realistic books I’ve ever read. Only four starts because despite how much i loved it, I really was not that into the story itself. Difficult for me to explain but either way this is worth the read for the writing, the thoughtful way such difficult topics were handled, and portrayal of the characters.

This was a super cute and fun read. It took me some time to get into it but I think that was just because I was super aware of how much more I would have loved this book when I was younger.

That being said, I loved the story, the writing, the HP references, and I adored all of the characters. I'll definitely read more from this author, and I would definitely suggest this to anyone looking for a sweet, fun read!

2021 reread —- man i forgot so many small details from when I first read this, that it honestly felt like I was reading it for the first time. And it was just as incredible this time as it was last.

First read:
This was a roller coaster of emotions.

I fell more in love w every character and the writing than I thought possible. The ending was everything I didn't know I wanted or needed and yet I am so incredibly satisfied.
