Too many inconsistencies in the plot and world building. 

Maybe because I know nothing of the music I didn’t feel the need to continue. The world building and character development isn’t great, and for what was being told it really needed to be. 

I think it says a lot that the popular books with trans reps all have very questionable rep. Also the continued use of an out dated term and the very binary talk of gender. As well as the trigger for abusive relationships. This book was not for me. 

Just not for me.

Continued use of the "r" word, including the narrator calling himself that. 

It just isn't my thing.
