In this story we follow the life of Sam Hill. A boy who was born with ocular albinism. Which basically means he was born with red eyes.

Throughout this story we switch between different points in Sam’s life and how certain defining moments really make Sam a very special person.

I absolutely loved this book! I think the only thing I had a slight problem with is the way the timeline jumped. It didn’t quite make sense to me all the time but when everything started to come together I couldn’t stop.

This book was compulsively readable and the audiobook is fantastic. I felt like I really knew the characters and why they did what they did in certain situations.

I enjoyed this book so much but I will say if you are more of a plot reader than a character reader this might not be the book for you but if you love character development this will be a win.

This book was so atmospheric! From the very beginning I enjoyed this book. This is a multiple POV story about three girls who all end up living in Sawkill. Marion just moved to Sawkill because her father passed and so her mother takes a job as the house keeper to the richest family in Sawkill. Val is the daughter of the family who Marion’s mom works for and who seems to have some secrets. Then there is Zoey the chief of police’s daughter and who moved to Sawkill to be with her dad because her mom was moving. As they get to know one another they will also learn why girls keep going missing and never return.

The pacing of this story was so good until the very end and then it felt rushed. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters at first I felt like Val was going to be a lackluster character for me but I enjoyed her growth throughout the book.

I think this is such a fun book and can see a lot of people liking it. My recommendation is if you are a character driven reader you will love this. If you are a plot driven reader this will keep you entertained. If you are a little of both this is the type of book for you.

I was kindly sent this ebook by VPS Publishing for a free and honest review..

I found this book very disappointing. The main character who is called The Baroness is supposed to be unlikeable but what bothered me most about her was the fact that there were multiple times she called herself a feminist and what she was really meaning is I am a narcissist who hates both men and woman.

I went into this book thinking that the main character as going to help women become their most seductive selfs but it was not. I was highly disappointed in this book and will not be continuing the series.

I can see where some people may like this book but for me it took everything that I care deeply about marriage and made me feel like the purpose of this book was to tell women how stupid it is to be in a committed relationship based on love. That we should all be looking for a billionaire that we can screw over and take all his money.

I again want to thank VPS Publishing for the free copy this just wasn’t my kind of book.
