This book has me at a lost for words. There are so many things that happened in this book that I can not even fathom becoming a reality. Winsten is the main charachter and he lives in a sociolist world. Winsten begins to hate the life he is living and trys to find a way to change it. The ending of this book I think is what left me speechless because I did not expect Winsten to give up and give in to Big Brother. I really enjoyed this book and it has made me think about the world in a completely different way. I would advise anyone who reads this book to be ready for a huge bookhangover when you complete.

This book was really good until the last quarter. I really liked the building of the problem but didn't like how there was a real lack of resolve at the end even though they knew what to do to fix the problem.

I am giving this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed this book and think that anyone who loves to read should read this book. This book made me feel like I was really in Mr. Penumbra's bookstore and along for the adventure that happens through out the story.
