Another great addition to the Bromance Book Club series! I loved the friends to lovers trope used in this book and the continued growth of the characters arcs.

The Rest of Us Just Live Here had so many great elements to it - perspective from the kids who aren't "the chosen ones", discussion around mental health and eating disorders, strong sibling relationships, and a fun writing style, where "the chosen one" storyline is included with short paragraphs at the beginning of each chapter.

A nice conclusion to the King of Scars duo, although a tad anticlimactic.

Such a cute novel that showcases a tiny bit of fantasy element to it, in an overall plot that showcases key themes of friendship, self-development, and community support.

This is absolutely a must read book for the commentary on World War 2 and death. It is so beautifully written and really captures the devastating nature of World War 2.

It was an easy YA read that centered around big topics like sexual orientation and mental health/illness. However, it didn't capture me and the ending felt rushed and not fully tied together.
