4.5 Stars! This book was actually kinda scary. What if this actually happened and there was no real relief in sight? This kept me on the edge of my seat and kept me reading. I loved the action and the pacing and telling the story from different perspectives. Great read!

Sooooo everything Frankie did was ultimately to impress boys who didn't even really seem to care about her. She over thought everything she said so she wouldn't sound stupid or too desperate or too smart. No. No. Not for me.

I just can’t pretend to care about this book anymore. The writing wasn’t great either for this one and I kept losing focus on what was going on because I didn’t care.

When I started to get to know finch, I knew it was bipolar because it sounded like me. This story was heartbreaking but I feel like it was necessary for young readers and really for adult readers.

Dnf after 50%. I don’t know. I’m a little sad to give it up but I just found the writing not great. I loved The Serpent King so I’m shocked to have to dnf this but so it goes I guess.

Here's the thing. I loved Made You Up. I thought the characters were so interesting and different and everything about that book was unique. Eliza is not that. I hate Eliza. I got up to the part where they went camping and her parents took away her phone and she pouted. I stopped reading after that. Eliza is supposed to be "socially awkward" when in actuality, she's just a narcissistic bitch and there's a big difference between the two. I never got to the part where everything was revealed and honestly, I don't care.

So the reason I only gave this 3 stars is because I was in the middle of reading this and I read some other reviews on here and some freaking reviewer but literally the entire plot and resolution on their review?? So I accidentally spoiled myself and wasn’t surprised and yeah. Put a spoiler thing if you’re going to give everything away.

So upon finishing this book, I just got why it has this title and it is a good one. I like the title and why it has that title. And that might be it. I didn’t like this writing style at all and it’s something I usually gravitate towards so I’m shocked. The story was fine and in some parts I really like it but the writing was lacking.

I dnf’ed this at 80 pages in. Not my jam. So confused.
