I really liked this book. It felt a bit chunky in some spots but it didn't really take away from the story. I'm glad I read the author's note at the end because I did feel like Amanda did have a lot of things come easier to her but the author let us know that it was on purpose. I think this was an important story to tell and it was done in a really good way.

Okay, ready to write a review. This book was okay. It wasn’t anything new or great but it wasn’t awful either. I hated Ryden though, he was annoying from start to finish and his inner monologue was the worst, you could tell he was written by a female author. Either way, it was a fast read and it’s over.

This was a solid four star book until I hit the last two chapters. The flood gates opened and it was a five star book. First of all, this book is feminist as fuck. But better than that, it calls out white feminism and religion in Feminism and doesn’t shy away from the very scary and real topic of rape. It was in your face all the time in every single chapter and I was hard. I thought about not finishing this book because it was so hard for me to read... because it was so real. And that’s why I kept going. It was so real to everything that’s happening right now and it struck cords and was ugly and necessary. Everyone should read this book.

Still, forever, will always be one of my favorite books.

This writing style just wasn’t for me. And how many times did Sarah have to mention that she was having an existential crisis...I get it you told me 14 times.

Soooo this was a dnf at 13% because I couldn’t do it anymore. The writing style was not for me. The first person was fine but it was the interacting with the reader that was cringe worthy for me. Apparently it gets better but I can’t wait that long.

Dnf at page 100. Just not my thing. It was pretty slow and both of the voices sounded the same.

I screamed “no” “shit” and “oh wow” a lot. It was really good and I was in the edge of my seat.

I really thought I was going to like this more than I did. It started with a 14??? Year old girl who sounded like she was 10 and super immature. It did get a bit better and there were a lot of issues that were represented in the book but I’m not sure if it was done in a great way. I don’t know could have been better.
