This book was not for me. I never got a sense of who the characters were or felt any kind of connection to them. The “romance” only happened because they were the only two characters in the book. Too much purple prose and not much else. Disappointing.

Oh man. This book was great. It was a mix of The Hate U Give and All American Boys for me. It was fairly short which was surprising but it was deep and meaningful and surprising and the ending was amazing.

I DNF’ed this book at page 200 because she described the weather as “bipolar” and I literally could not continue reading this book after that. Shitty use of a mental disorder to describe something as stupid as the weather. No thanks.

It was fine. There wasn’t any new information really, just everyone in the administration calling each other names. We all know the president thinks he’s really smart but everyone around him knows he’s not and that’s the gist of the book.

I loved this! Feminist AF on every single page.
