I had a really hard time with this book tbh. I really liked the first half but honestly once they got together I kinda lost interest because lololol for meeeeee it was too much sex like I get it you’re into each other. I obviously like romance books but I don’t need all that smut in my books.
3.5
I loved the story of this one so much and I love sapphic books but the writing was a little weird and lacking. I’m not sure if it’s the format of the e-arc but we switched perspectives in the middle of the page without warning and it was really difficult to keep up at first and to honestly tell the characters apart. Not only that but since it was third person it just felt weird. The story though was super good and I loved both Taylor and Avery and I’m so glad she wrote a sapphic book.

Made it 100 pages and all her books have the same plot
DNF 60% in. It’s a personal thing but I hate the second chance when it involves a high school ex. Also he confessed his feelings and then just started dating someone else and I just can’t keep doing this back and forth thing.
This has taken me literal months to read because I never wanted to pick it up. This was just ok for me. I kinda saw the big twist coming unlike in her other books where I was positively flabbergasted and I just wasn’t with this one.
The entire time I was reading this I just felt like I kept waiting for something to happen. Not very thrillerish and I didn’t like the writing style. Overall this just didn’t really work for me.
