This was really unique and I loved how it was about complicated family relationships with a bit of magical realism

Dnf 55% in. I’m not a really technical reader but I feel like this book had so many plot holes it was hard for me to be fully invested. Like ok, they are sent to her favorite TV show but it’s fiction. The other actors just came back to this fiction town? Like I’m trying not to be hung up on these questions but it just was so confusing.

This was amazing. If you liked Carrie Soto you will love this. The amount of times I audibly gasped at the drama in this book. If you’re looking for a book like They Never Learn, it’s not this. This is totally completely different in the best way possible.

Dnf 50% in. I loved the concept of this book. It’s essentially two people using romance tropes with each other for different reasons but obviously they are very attracted to each other. This stats out with a one night stand and then evolves into friendship but I just felt nothing for either character. Very surface level and no yearning.
