Dnf 40% in. This was so boring. I understand there needs to be world building in this world but everything felt like world building and I just didn’t care about any of it.

This was bad. The plot was slow moving and not very original. My biggest gripe though was all the brothers names were so similar I had no idea who was who. And the ending sucked and usually McManus hits her endings out of the park. I’m disappointed.

Normally when I cry reading books it's like a tear now and then but noooo I was sobbing in like a really good way and as I'm writing this I'm still crying and I never cry.

2.5 bleegh they literally only knew each other 3 months and he’s in LOVE with her and they never even dated?! I hate adult romance. Ben was so boring, dull dad indeed.

My problem with this book is that there was no plot. The love interests were bland and it was not convincing at all that anyone loved each other. I didn’t dnf because I heard about the ending and let me just say, it wasn’t worth not DNFing. Past michelle would go back and dnf.

I think this is one of those rare instances where the movie was better than the book. Part three of the book was so boring but it picked up again in part 4. The ending was totally different and I wasn’t expecting that just expecting Timothée Chalamet looking into the fire for 4 minutes. Also, apricock.

1.5 stars. No one wanted this.

My reading vlog is coming soon but let me say some things here. It feels like we might be getting another book after this one and I don’t know how to feel about that. This was such an unnecessary addition to the series and nothing happened which I think makes me the most upset about this. The love story was a joke and I just hated everything about this.

I liked this one a lot more than the first one and it probably helped that I haven’t seen this movie.
