I didn’t love this as much as The Start of Me and You but this had a lot of heart. The miscommunication in this book killed me as it’s my second least favorite trope but I understand where it came from. I can easily remember being a senior in high school and worrying about college and friendships and relationships so that was so realistic to me.

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. The writing and story were both great.

2.5? Most of this was insanely boring. I wouldn’t have gotten through it without the audiobook.

I really really really liked this. This is my favorite kind of contemporary with romance, parental conflicts and friend groups. I will admit it was a little cheesy especially at the end which I think is why it’s getting 4 stars instead of 5. I will read anything Emma Lord writes though the writing was amazing.

This was fine? I listened to the audiobook so my attention wasn’t always 100% on the book but I don’t think anything about it was that spectacular. Bonus points for own voices but that’s it.

??? Was there a plot? And the love interest was so boring I don’t get it.

Look, I tried really hard to finish this but it was just unreadable. Dnf 200 pages in.

I’m super surprised I’m giving this 4 stars because I hated Theo for most of the book. But the ending was so good and she was finally making the right decisions. I wish we could have known more about Donovan after he came home though that would have been really interesting.
