This was, no offense, not good. All of the characters equally sucked but I especially couldn’t stand rae. I listened to the audiobook and her character was like cry-talking the entire time and it was super annoying. Also, it was just messy? Messy story, messy how it was told, messy characters. Not a fan.

This could have been so good if it wasn’t so underdeveloped

This is the second time I’ve tried to read this book and I can’t do it. Everything is overly described with this writing and it is driving me crazy. Also miscommunication is my most hated trope so it’s a no from me.

Look, listen. Normally when I dnf I don’t rate a book. However, I somehow managed to make it 82% of this book so I feel I can rate it. First and foremost, I will never, ever agree with Elyse. She said she liked this book a lot and I should have just known to stay away from it but no, I decided I was going to like it too. It was so boring. Literally nothing happens and it’s so fucking long. There’s a sequel coming out and now I know to stay away from it. So boring. Bex is an American who falls in love with Nick who is a prince. That’s it. That’s the story and it ended in part 1.

Dnf 50% in. This is my own fault, really. I’ve seen the not so great reviews for this. But I loved The Hating Game so it couldn’t have been that bad, right? Wrong. The main character Darcy was a mess and not in the redeeming way she was just a bitch. And the love interest Tom was just so boring and perfect. I listened to the audiobook and the voice actor was just so monotoned that not even 2x speed could help this one.

This was pretty dark. It’s definitely dated in some aspects but I thought the perspective from a male with a not so great home life was really good.

I watched the show first so this was pretty different but still good. I liked how the show took time getting to know the keys.
