i have to say at one point i really really didn't like tessa in this story...i'm still not sure i like her but i do understand her actions a little more...very very fast read
when i finished the van alen legacy i was a little uninspired to keep reading this series...it didn't seem to be moving forward...the first part of this book, misguided angel, initially changed my mind...i was sucked in to schuyler's story but when mimi started her story i became uninterested again...i liked the introduction to deming and her role but overall i wasn't impressed with this book...it felt like snippets that didn't really show any kind of character development nor did the storyline really move forward very much
i was really intrigued by the concept long before i found out they were making it into a movie...i was not disappointed by how the storyline was written...i found that it read very quickly...have the story told in first person did make the story feel more engaging
i found myself comparing it to the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins which isn't fair to this book...the title is a little misleading as thomas never becomes a maze runner really...i am interested in continuing the story with the next book
i started this as an audiobook and i was bored then i found it on my shelf as an ARC...i enjoyed it while reading it much more than listening to the audio...it was a very quick read
