she has a random writing style....a little here and then a little there...felt disjointed at times

hmmm...not really sure how i feel about this book...it was a good story and an interesting presentation...but i didn't like the way her parents treated her at the end

i first tried to do the audio...had a problem with one of the cds so i checked out the book instead...a better experience as a book than as an audio...the author (Cornelia Funke) did the audio and i didn't feel her voice was strong enough to pull it off

a little draggy

it was ok...not stellar...lots of references to fairy tales which was cool but i wonder how many of the stories the kids will know...did the audio and at one point they talk about a change in the spelling which didn't come across in the audio

felt like it had 2 endings which was kinda odd
