I have to admit amnesia books aren’t really my thing, but I was intrigued to read Bianca’s story.
I think it was handled well, even if things didn’t make sense, like how could she go to school if she didn’t remember anything she’d learned?
This book was also super fast, like lightening fast. Everything happens at a break neck speed to the point it feels rushed. I wish more time could’ve been spent fleshing everything out.
Also, Bianca’s guy didn’t sit right with me. He feels possessive, overly so and not in a good way, and is quick to anger and revert back to her old self. I don’t get their first kiss at all.
I liked the previous books in this series but this one fell a tiny bit flat for me, sorry!

I had high hopes for this book. I’ve heard good things and people raving about it, but I ask myself why?
This book is full of horrible things. Genocide, drug use, war, rape, murder, animal cruelty, selfishness.
I wanted to love this book, I would’ve settled for liking this book, but I can’t even do that.
The first parts of the book are rushed through, with characters just disappearing as if they’re of little consequence.
The last part of this book is full of horribleness. Genocide, selfishness. I found myself cringing as I read it because it was that difficult to want to read what would happen next.
Sorry, but I can’t like this book.

I quite enjoyed this book. It’s a lot darker, not as romantic, not as witty as Serpent & Dove, but does push the story along.
I’m not sure I quite like Lou’s development, but I trust it’ll be for the good of the final story.
On the other hand, I loved Reid’s. He develops beautifully, as does Beau.
I like the introduction of new characters, Gabi especially and can’t wait to see where this saga ends!

I was initially really excited to read this book, but it’s all over the place.
I realise it’s a debut novel, but it reads as if it hasn’t had any editing guidance at all.
Things happen out of the blue, with little to no explanation, things switch and change and don’t make sense.
Shea is an infuriatingly naïve character who is supposed to be strong, but comes off as a little dense.
The journey of this book happens all too easily, with things just coming to Shea magically.
It’s simple, and the world building is weak. Nothing is really explained and just happens.
The writing style is also clunky as hell, with literally everything told to you and so many adverbs.
Ya fantasy is not an easy genre to dip one’s toes in, but I’m afraid this falls so short.

All the stars, seriously, like 10 of them!!
Oh. My. God. This book... it’s everything.
The story is hauntingly beautiful. Addie is smart, she’s savvy, she’s sassy, she’s also lonely and flawed.
Henry is everything you want in a man. Strong, funny, kind.
Luc would be enough to tempt anyone.
There’s a lot more romance here than any of Victoria’s other books and I’m here for it! I love it.
But what blew me away is Victoria’s writing. It’s pure poetry. It’s soft, it’s strong, it’s Victoria in book form and I want to hear it every day for the rest of my life.
I cannot say enough incredible things about this book. It’s just simply everything. The one I will remember for the rest of my life (no pun intended).
You need to read this book, like, right now. NOW!!!!

I liked the premise of this book but I felt like it didn’t know what it wanted to be. Did it want to be a tale of a girl, looking for her place in the world? Did it want to be the tale of an alchemist struggling with what she wants to do? It is a romance? Is it a mystery? There’s so much going on in this book that seems to change mid track.
I wish Thea were a stronger character and that the relationship with Will or Dominic or even Valentin were stronger to give some depth.
I wish her father were more consistent.
I wish the French Revolution theme were a bigger part as well.
As a final note, I wish there was a more solid end, rather than what were given. To me, it doesn’t read as a series but I might be wrong, but if it’s not, I would’ve liked a better end.
This book is a little bit of a mess, the result of too many themes, too many ideas trying to get out in one book.
It’s a great attempt but fell a little short unfortunately.

This was a solid book. It’s much more in the theme and feel of the first two books in this series, which leads to the question, what the heck was going on with wicked princess?
The whole time I was reading this book I was wondering why that book exists at all. It seems completely unnecessary, especially given this book exists.
Having said that, I enjoyed this book. It has feels, it has heat, it has some twists and it has a lot of drama.
I will warn that there are suicidal, child abuse, molestation, and domestic abuse triggers, so please be aware.
This was a great end to the series, with all the ends tied up nicely.
If dark-ish, billy romances seems your thing, pick up this series.

This was a solid end to the series.
I love all of these couple, love how Ginger writes high school kids, love how she writes sports, love how she writes everyday life.
I did find this book a *tad* slow and wanted more detail in what happened between the last chapter and the epilogue but that’s a small complaint.
This is a great series, with great characters and great stories. Give it a go!

This book sounded great but unfortunately fell flat for me.
The world building is weak, and I found the writing repetitive, a little childish, and at times contradictory.
I wanted to like Zora, as a strong female character but couldn’t really connect.
There was an attempt to get you on her side by a somewhat demeaning almost encounter in the first chapter, but that wasn’t enough for me.
I think with a little more time and development this book could be good, but as is, isn’t great. Sorry!

I love this book! It’s such a cute series!!
Cassidy is so awesome and Jacob is just fantastic.
I loved the addition of Lara and Adele as well as all the history and geography of Paris, I could almost see this book in my head!
I absolutely adore this series and can’t wait for the next one!!
