Wow! This book was incredible! I loved the story that was woven, the characters, the world building. I do wish there was more Asian elements involved, but it’s still a solid story.
Most of all I enjoyed the romance aspect of this book and can’t wait for the next one!

I have a hard time with retellings. I get the original story in my head and I get caught up on comparing the new story to the old one.
I like this twist on Romeo and Juliet. It’s modern, and fresh, with enough differences to set it apart from the original.
I like Arianne. She’s a little too innocent for me, but it works for the story.
I would’ve liked to have seen more feelings from Nicco, but he’s solid too.
I did find it a tad slow to start, but at the back end, it’s the supporting cast who make this book. Nora, matteo, enzo, Bailey, alissa, Luis, they’re great.

I was apprehensive about this book. When Cutter was first mention in Random’s book I got major gay vibes from him. Even at certain points in this book I got them. But that isn’t why this book fell a little flat for me.
I felt as if we never really got to know Cutter and Rowan passed the trauma they both have. Also, their relationship was lacking the wooing that gives you all the feels. I wanted to know who they are, why they do what they do but I didn’t get that.
I also kind of resented the implications (fictional or not) about the university of Alabama football program. Yes, I know it’s fictional, I just think things could’ve been tweaked so it didn’t directly implicate the fictional coaching staff.
I wanted to like this book, it just lacked some things for me, sorry.

I voluntarily received an Advance Reader Copy of this book and chose to review it.
I'm a fan of short, hot and sweet but this didn't really do it for me. I like Ryan, he's a great character but for me, the writing style lacked something to make the story pop. I also didn't think we really got to know Julia enough and the Twilight theme didn't do it for me either, sorry!

I quite enjoyed this book! Conor and Taylor weren’t your usual main characters and I loved it, it was a refreshing take.
I loved how sensitive Conor is, and how he’s not afraid of his feelings, absolutely obsessed with hockey, and how he goes after Taylor.
I loved that Taylor wasn’t self assured and had hang ups. She felt real.
Together these two are great. There’s some real fun moments, as well as real human moments.
This feels like the perfect end to Elle’s series.

Oh! Tijan is back! Technically she never went anywhere, but her last few books didn’t really rate as well with me, but that changes here!
I LOVED this book! I loved Aspen, like, really loved Aspen. She is so awesome! Funny, quirky, strong.
I loved how protective Blaise was. How he had his problems, but confronted them, recognised them, met them head on.
One thing that did bother me was how many connections there were to other books and series. I had a little bit of a hard time keeping people straight and I think it’s because Blaise and Aspen really came out of the dark for me.
Still, this book is emotional, it’s funny, it’s swoon worthy and you need to read it!

I don’t know what to think of this book. The end lives up to the title and I loved it, but for so much of the book I was so frustrated!
There are shades here of Kaylee’s first book, Anywhere with you, which I absolutely loved!
I liked Reese, but I couldn’t like Cooper, no matter what happened.
Unfair or not, I’m placing the blame on him. He’s selfless and frankly a little dense. I never bought his excuse for not making a move on Reese. He didn’t want to be with her but he didn’t want anyone else to be with her. He said he pictured her married and with kids, but never let her meet anyone for her to do that.
It’s so frustrating! I wonder if, when the second book comes out, it’ll be that I’ll feel much of this book isn’t needed, but I guess we’ll have to wait...

3.5 stars.
This was a cute book but needed a little bit of work I think.
In the beginning it opens up and reads like a second or third book in a series, I actually had to check it wasn’t. No one was explained, nothing was explained and you were left trying to figure out what the heck was happening. It doesn’t take much to set the scene but it wasn’t done here.
Because of that I was genuinely confused about sage, much, Charlie, and Luke. So much of the book relies on their relationships but you need to know what how they all relate in order to do that.
I also wished it was a little more clear just what was going on. It takes a while for this book to get going and I feel like it kind of gets stuck in second gear.
As I said, it’s a cute book, but does need work.

This was a solid book. I loved Miller, and Ashlyn is pretty great too. One thing I did wish is that we saw what happened in Chicago, especially seeing as so much of the story revolves around what happened.
My other small complaint is that I would like to see more dialogue tags. There were a few times in the dialogue I had to stop and work our who was talking.
Still, that’s really the only complaints I have. I loved the conviction Miller has and the strong sense of family with this book.
Give it a go!

I quite enjoyed this book. I felt like it was a little slow to start, but once it got going I really enjoyed it.
I liked the sass karou has as well as her relationship with Akiva.
I liked the mix of real world and new world, as well as the love of Prague, I want to go there!
This is a solid book and I do recommend it!
