I quite enjoyed this book. It’s short, it’s sweet, it’s funny, it’s sexy, it’s a good quick read that i wouldn’t mind seeing fleshed out into a full length book.

I loved this book, it’s the perfect ending to this phase of the series.
I loved catching up with all our old favourites, and shuddered at the new additions.
It’s not as heavy in the romance, and heavier in the fighting, but it is still enjoyable and utterly compelling!

Wow. This book was full on, and not in a good way, at least for me.
The book is hostile, the hate coming out of the pages. Perhaps that was the desired intent, but for me, it made for uncomfortable reading. At times I found myself fighting against Lei and Wren and leaning towards Aoki and the King. It’s weird and I have no idea why, only that I did.
This book is aggressive, the author’s note at the start setting the tone. Yes, I agree, more diversity is needed but to do so in such an aggressive and unpalatable way? I’m not sure is the way to go.
This book wasn’t for me. It may be for others, but it’s left a bad taste in my mouth.
It should also be noted trigger warnings are needed here for rape and violence against women. Please proceed at your own risk.

I loved this book! I loved Dallas in the first book and he did not disappoint in this one.
I love a flawed hero and Dallas is the definition, but his journey is a great one.
I liked Dora, I liked how much sass she had.
This is a great addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next one!

This is a cute, quick read revisiting our favourite families. I love the spirit of Christmas it invokes, and gives the series a concrete finale.

I loved this series and I liked this book. It’s a great example of mature YA and all the goodness it entails.
I love Mya and Asher as characters
Mya is strong, self-assured, and confident.
Asher is vulnerable but trying to do the right thing.
Together they should make a great couple but I’m not entirely sold on them. To me, it all seems a bit matchy matchy, like they’re only together because they’re the last 2 in their group.
I also wanted to see more of Asher’s feelings from the start, especially given his feelings for felicity.
Still, this is a solid book and I liked the drama.
It’s a solid book.

Copy received for honest review.
I wanted to love this book, I really did. I started off loving it. I loved Dylan and Kat and I loved them together but they were let down by the story. The story was sorely lacking detail or any interesting peaks in the story, it was all rather flat and developed in fits and starts. It made for an interrupted read. There was no heat and the relationship between the two, instead of being a hot build up to Kat losing her virginity, was a soft simmer. Perhaps this was what was intended but it could've been so much more with the hot details! I'd also caution the author/publisher to take care with their proofread as there were quite a few errors which I hope were fixed prior to publication. I'm so disappointed because Dylan started off great but ended with a fizzle.

4.5 stars.

Wow! This book. I loved it! It was so gently written, but with a strong hand, a concise vision and a touch of humour.
I loved Ana. She is strong, but not infallible. She is naive but learning. She is guarded but not cold.
Ramson is a great character as well. Strong but not too tough. Charming but not overly so. He has a weak spot but does not let that define him.
I loved the storyline and the supporting characters, the touch of romance was exactly what I needed to give this something extra.
I love where this is heading and cannot wait for the next book. I’m so glad Amelie went ahead and published this book. She is a lovely woman and deserves all the accolades coming to her!

3.5 stars.

This was an okay book, a little quick if I’m being honest, and perhaps a tad overwritten.
It’s a highly emotional story, but I think a little restraint would’ve improved it, heightened the emotions.
Gray is a solid character, but not much stands out for me.
Amelia is okay, but I would’ve liked to have seen much more transformation.
Personally, I think this book is just too short. It needed to be fleshed out more, built up more to let the tension build.
Still, it’s an easy read, if not a tad dramatic for my taste.

DNF at 5%.

Just not for me. The writing is stilted and repetitive. Also, nothing is explained. Just not for me.
