I read this as part of the ultimate reader challenge. January’s book, a free read.
I quite enjoyed this book. I’ve never read any of Max Monroe’s books and this was a good introduction.
First of all, Roll Tide!
Second, I love the football aspect here.
Third, I love that Quinn was just as invested as Cat.
Fourth, I NEED Denver’s book, like, yesterday!
This was a great, light hearted read. A couple of times I felt that some dots didn’t connect and that the football technicalities could’ve been played up, more with Jillian and the PR guy whose name escapes me right now.
One thing that really bugged me was the assertion that there are direct flights from JFK to Birmingham. A hop and a skip to T Town? My dream! Unfortunately in my experience it’s not a reality!
Still, if you’re looking for something light hearted, give this a go!

I really enjoyed this book!
Heidi is feisty and smart, Castro is brooding and hot.
I also love the supporting cast of characters.
This book had the right amount of romance, drama and humour, I say give this a go!

At first I figured this book would’ve be for me. The title, the cover didn’t really appeal, but I actually ended up loving this book.
I love Romeo. I love Rimmel. I love Braeden. I love Murphy.
This is a great ensemble with a good paced story.
The following books get a bit more dramatic but don’t lose their spark, give it a go!

I quite enjoyed this book. I like how there were strong themes here, stuff that shouldn’t be brushed under the carpet.
Tate is strong and smart.
Jared is wounded but still redeemable.
The supporting cast of characters was great too.
I love mature YA and while this wasn’t as mature as some I’ve read, I’d still say give this a go!

This was an okay book. I didn’t realise it was the second in the series, which makes so much sense now, lol.
I did feel like the story was a little rushed, that it jumped in the deep end and didn’t really recover. Details were skipped. It would’ve been better to be a bit longer, to let the whole story develop.
Still, the characters were solid and I liked the setting. If you’ve got time and like small town, second chance romances, give it a go.

This was a solid book. It had romance, intrigue, drama.
I did feel that at times, particularly action sequences the writing was a little clunky, but it didn’t detract too much from the story.
I loved the supporting cast, Nikki, Lilith, Ollie, and Kale. Frankie was especially precious too.
I also liked how everything came together.
If you like single dad, small town, drama-filled romance give this a go.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Thomas Nelson through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
This book was seriously impressive! I’ve not seen the movie Anastasia, not read anything about her or anything Russian, pretty much. What can I say? Anna Karena traumatised me!
But this wasn’t the depressing mess that Russian stories usually leave me with.
I quite enjoyed this story. Nastya was gutsy and brave. Zash was seriously lovable. Alexi was a great light point and the story was so intriguing!
I like to think what happened here was what really happened, well the afterwards part anyway.
At times I felt like the story chugged along, but towards the end it did catch up and made for a compelling read.
Is this my usual type of book? No, but I’m not sad I read it through to conclusion. If you’re looking for a historical/fantasy/retelling cross, give this a go!

3.5 stars.
This was a nice story, a good second chance at love story.
I loved the characters, in particular Maddi and Lucas. I did feel as if there wasn't too much to Courtney.
The major problem I had with this book though was the writing. I felt the story was rushed and flew at a million miles an hour. There were quite often info dumps, it just didn't feel very polished to me.
Despite this, as I said, I enjoyed the story, in spite of the writing style. It's a light, quick read, so give it a go.

I quite enjoyed this book. It wasn’t your usual reporter/sports star book, for which I was grateful.
It also wasn’t your typical BDSM book, there was a hefty dose of romance, for which I was also grateful.
I loved Gage, as well as Elizabeth, together they’re a great couple. They’re both strong, loving, and fierce.
I also loved the other cast of characters, books I haven’t read so i might have to go fix that!
I recommend you give this book a go!
