To be honest I felt like the premise for Kicked was a little strange. As much as I'm all for equality and women's rights, I can't see a woman ever being allowed to play on a men's football team. That stayed with me through the entire book. Which is a shame because I liked the relationship between Trent and Cordy. I was looking for more of a resolution to their problems, the same between Landon and Cordy, nothing was ever resolved there, it just remained kind of awkward, which given the strength of their relationship was just weird. It was an enjoyable story but the original premise of it just didn't sit right with me.

I think I missed something here, this book was missing so much. Perhaps it's part of a serial but it didn't really work for me. The story starts well but then you realise so much more has gone on prior to this book. It would've been so much better if it started when Lainey came to town. I also would've liked if it extended after where it did, or at least had an epilogue. I did like the relationship between Chris and Lainey, I liked how it developed and how they are together, but I guess feel like I'm missing so much. There weren't many physical descriptions, of any character, let alone Chris and Lainey, so I must had to muddle my way through. The group of characters is good, but there was too much missing.

I think the concept for this book was good, I liked the different angle, but I felt it was a bit underdeveloped. I thought the start was a little slow and laborious. I waited and waited for something to happen and it took a while. I also thought the chapters were a little short and light on detail. Something would finally happen and then it would end.
I also thought all the action towards the end of the book was really jumbled and I found it difficult to follow, with people going everywhere and a lot going on.
I did enjoy the relationship between madelyn and Reece but, like most of the book it dragged and I was waiting a lot of the time for something to happen. A good concept, but it fell a little flat.

I've got to admit, I got strong Scoring Wilder vibes from this book. I don't know if it's just because they share common themes but I did. I felt this was a solid book but missed some of the big moments. I'd like to have seen the boom start with Natalia's accident. I also would've flashed that out more, it seems it was solved very easily when I'm not sure it would be. I also would've liked to have seen more conflict with Novac. I felt too much was made of the relationship between Spencer and Natalia and not enough on the stuff that had an effect on their relationship. I also felt that Natalia's description of her personality didn't match up with her actions. But overall, I did enjoy this book, even if some of the technical aspects were beyond me.

I know this is just a novella, but I still feel it could've been fleshed out more. I like the instant connection Georgia and Will had and the surprises along the way and I felt it deserved more. I feel like many of Cora's books are short on detail and I think it does the characters a disservice.

I genuinely enjoyed Blind Spot. I liked how human Tate and Shelby are, especially Tate. I love the lengths he goes to for her and the chapters written from his pov. I wasn't crazy on the constant back and forth but I liked how they understood each other even when they didn't know each other very well. An enjoyable read.

Rounding third is a solid read. Crosby Lynch is the ultimate alpha and I enjoyed him a lot. I thought the premise of the story was interesting, not something I quite understood, but I get it. The love him and Ella have, like her name, is out of a fairytale. I have to admit I was waiting for both of their 'come to Jesus' moments, and was disappointed when it didn't really happen. I think they both needed to clear the air and I don't think that happened. I think the difficult, emotional parts were bypassed in favour of romance and while it's never a bad thing, I think the story needed it.

Usually I'm the one saying I want more detail in books. Not today. I found this book hard going. There is so much detail, much of it you just don't need. Sure it paints a great picture to tell me, in great detail, about how Anna's house is decorated but I just don't need it. I found myself skimming sections so as to get to the main guts of the story. I loved Jake but I just couldn't get passed the rambling, sorry.

My god what a saga! I had no idea so much could happen to one couple! I do have to admit, no matter how much I enjoyed the racing side of things, all the drama became a little much for me, I just wanted it to end and for Declan and Alyssa to be happy! I loved the writing and the story in general, it was all just a bit too much for me.

Tijan has done it again! I loved Anti-Stepbrother. Caden is hot, broody and a total sweetheart. Summer is a typical Tijan heroine. I loved how their relationship develops. Caden is a total hottie who rivals Mason in my opinion. I would've liked to have seen more of him and summer as a couple but I did love their relationship. Another great read!
