Kicked
by Celia Aaron
Received for an honest opinion.
To be honest I felt like the premise for Kicked was a little strange. As much as I'm all for equality and women's rights, I can't see a woman ever being allowed to play on a men's football team. That stayed with me through the entire book. Which is a shame because I liked the relationship between Trent and Cordy. I was looking for more of a resolution to their problems, the same between Landon and Cordy, nothing was ever resolved there, it just remained kind of awkward, which given the strength of their relationship was just weird. It was an enjoyable story but the original premise of it just didn't sit right with me.
