was a super interesting book. I was particularly fascinated by the parallel storyline’s that were going on even though Persephone had no idea.
I also really enjoyed getting to know hades more and getting his point of view.
Hercate and Hermes were incredible, I love Hermes so much!

This was an okay book.
I’m still a bit confused about the thief kingdom and if it’s supposed to be good or bad and how the sisters feel about it, but that’s a side issue.
I really didn’t like Niah . Like, at all.
There were times where she was just awful to Alos and she didn’t care. She is selfish and self centred and an idiot.
I did like alos though. He’s a great character but I wished what he did to earn the wrath of the thief king was laid out earlier and wasn’t so convoluted. I didn’t see the point in hiding it.
Anyway, it was an okay book. I’m unsure if I’m going to read the last book.

Was interesting enough, but I’m not feeling it at the moment. Will definitely come back to it!

Holy. Wow. This book was incredible!
I have to admit, it’s not my usual type of book, and I wasn’t sure whether I would actually pick it up or read it, but the growing chorus of raves convinced me. And I’m so glad I did.
This book was incredible. I loved the blend of history, the feet binding was such an interesting addition, one I’ve never seen before. 
Shimin and Yizhin were perfect and Zetian was just… so whoa!
I did wish we saw more of the relationship, which was so refreshing and definitely needed more.
I do admit that I am a bit nervous of the direction of the second book, purely because sci fi and aliens really isn’t my thing, but I don’t doubt that I will run to pick it up.

This was an enjoyable book!
I liked Declan and tommy especially and I’m expecting lots more development of aoife on future books.
This is a slow burn, slow paced book. Not much happens in it action-wise, but a lot of set up for what I imagine and hope will be action packed sequels.
Enjoyable. Will be continuing with this series.

Holy wow! I loved this book!
I was reluctant to read it, given reviews I had seen, but this wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would. I thought it would fit-wrenching and heartbreaking and it wasn’t.
It was compelling and tragic and enlightening and empowering.
It was insightful and beautiful and raw and honest.
It was everything I wasn’t expecting it to be and I loved it for that.
I can’t wait for it starts with us.

I wanted to like this book, but it was so slow to begin with and focused on stuff I didn’t care about and didn’t really understand how it all came together. I don’t care about the band before, I want to know about daisy and them and what the big hub Bub was about, why she was special, why they were. I didn’t have the patience to find out.

I absolutely adored this book and loved it SO much more than IHOS.
Piper is incredible and so entirely relatable.
Fox is just amazing. I loved his growth, I loved how strong he was and willing to work through his issues and say what he was thinking and feeling.
This book was just perfect.

What a roller coaster of a book, what a roller coaster of a series!
I loved ramsom and Anna and their merry band.
I wasn’t okay with some of the twists and turns, I just wanted things to start to be okay, but I could see how things would come really get her and that gave me hope.
I really enjoyed this series, I loved the characters, the writing, everything. Highly recommend!
