I’m not quite sure what the point of this book was. Nothing much really happened aside from the twins trying to get revenge on the heirs. In terms of story, there wasn’t much development.
Also, I don’t know if it’s me or sue to the time in between reading the first and second books, but I had a hard time remembering who was who and what they were etc. it confuses me that they have an element and then a different form. Like Caleb is a vampire but also earth, when I would probably associate that more with air, but Seth, who’s a werewolf is air?
And finally, this is me, but I have a hard time when I don’t know who the love interests are.
Lance and Darcy or Darcy and Seth?
Tory with Caleb or Darius? Or is it a why choose situation which I can 100% get behind.
Still, will continue with the series.

I loved this book! I was sent on a roller coaster of emotions and I loved it!
I love Tipp, and Naari, and Jaren, ohmigod Jaren. And Caldon is perfection.
I loved the twists and turns and where this is all going and I can’t wait to read the third book!

An okay book. I like the focus on Nick’s mental health, but aside from that, im not sure what purpose it serves.

I will forever love Nick and Charlie.
I love how real their relationship is, how nothing is really taboo, and how they’ve grown as a couple.
Perfect.

I really enjoyed this book! I wasn’t sure I would, but I did.
The SJM influence here is pretty strong, which is probably why I liked it so much.
I loved Tipp, Jaren, Mot, and Naari.
I liked the twists and turns, even if some of them were pretty easy to figure out.
I did have a bit of a hard time trying to remember this was set in a prison and that everyone was a prisoner. Still, I enjoyed this and can’t wait to tackle the second!

I absolutely adored this book! There’s something about Asian fantasies that, for me, feel like coming home, even if they’re not from my culture.
I loved the writing style of this book, and some of the insightful phrases.
I was pleasantly surprised by the level of romance on this book, especially with Namgi and Kirin.
I also adored Dim, Mask, Namgi, Kirin, and Shin. The humour was just perfect!
One of the best books of the year for me!

This was a great addition to the series.
I like the new characters brought into the cast and how they all came together.
I’m not sure I understand Orion though, but I would like to know more.
I’m also not keen on the Asian kids as the “baddies” but that is my bias.
Awaiting the final book.

I really enjoyed this book! It was different than I thought it would be, I had the idea of a hunger games type thing, but still, enjoyable nonetheless.
I liked Avery. I loved Jameson and Xander and Nash and Oron.
I legit can’t decide who I want Avery to be with; Jameson or Grayson, but I like the puzzles, even if a little far fetched.
This is a very intriguing series and I’m excited to read more!

This book surprised me! It was SO much spicier than I was expecting, but I loved it!
I did like the story and the world and magic system.
I liked Robin and Adelaide and Edwin.
I did think at times the story dragged a bit and lacked a little pizazz for my tastes, but I’m super interested to see where this series goes!

This was an okay book. It started interesting, got gruesome, like really gruesome, and then it totally lost me in the end.
I liked bastien and I think he could’ve been a really interesting love interest, but the ending? Killed that.
The magic system and amora’s use of it was gross. It totally turned me off, and felt a little off with what is a ya fantasy.
I’ve had this book on my tbr for ages, and even bought the second, but I have no desire to read it and was disappointed with this book.
