I thought the premise of this book very strange. I had me wondering what the heck was going on. It's somewhat repetitive. The ending was wild, but I almost felt like it was rushed. I probably would read it again, but it wasn't the worst book I've ever read.

This book is a good continuation of the series. Being this is book #37, I obviously like this series. Jessie is at it again, solo this time, as Ryan is still recovering from his injuries after being poisoned. But the most interesting part is what happens with Mark Hattenfield and Ash Pierce. I knew that it was going to go down eventually, and that it did. The ending definitely leaves you wanting more. Will Jessie succumb to her bloodlust, and what will Pierce's next move be? Will Kat and Hannah recover? 

This wasn't the most exciting book for me. I did feel really angry at one of the characters. It was a little predictable. I guess I just wasn't blown away by the ending. 

The way this book is written reminds me of The Housemaid Series. It has some wild FMCs. Okay book. I'd still recommend it. It's worth the read; it just wasn't as exciting as most of her books are. It's more of a domestic thriller than a psychological thriller. 

This book had a very odd storyline. It's somewhat hard to follow, because there's so much random info and several plot holes. The end was very rushed and just essentially ended.

This book was very repetitive, as the description relays. The further into the book, the more frustrating it is, and you're really rooting for the FMC. However, by the end of thr book, you get resolution. 

This book will blow your mind! I am so mind f*ked from reading this. I feel like I need to re-read it just to catch everything I missed the first time through. Everytime you think you know something, you realize you are so far off! I NEVER guessed what what going to happen. J.D. Barker has you questioning your own sanity. This is a fast read book that will keep you wanting more. Also, in my opinion, the ending is left for interpretation, which in this case, I actually enjoyed. Most times, I don't like books that end like this, but this is different. It makes you think about the characteristics of the main characters, that you've gotten to know for the last 3 books, and how the end would play out in different scenarios. I would 100% recommend this series, and I'd say this is the best of the 3!

This book is wild. The twists are so mind-blowing that I'm still trying to wrap my head around them. And the ending... WOW. Just wow. That's the only way I can describe it. J.D. Barker really knows how to leave you on a major cliffhanger with so many questions answered, yet so many still to be revealed.

This book is honestly twist after twist after twist. The whole book just keeps blowing your mind. I've read books that have a twist in the middle, or a big twist or two at the end, but my head was spinning with this book. It's dark and twisty, and everytime you think you're finally getting the story, BOOM. Another twist. It is wild!l, up until the end! Definitely a 5⭐️! 

I had a very high expectations for this book. I love the two storylines and the way the clues are put together through the diary. There are several unexpected moments throughout the book. It also deals with how childhood trauma affects you into adulthood and the bonds that tie families together. Add some revenge, and you've got a pretty good book. Would reccomend.
