5 Balls to the Wall Stars!
Wow. What a fantastic book. I was hooked from the very first page. Fun characters and a storyline that didn't drag. I absolutely loved reading this book. The chemistry between the characters and the writing style were both amazing. Lots of quirky, funny moments and just an all-round fun, light-hearted and easy read.
I definitely recommend this one!!

I loved this book. I was instantly hooked by the sarcastic and evil mind of Sydney Porter and I really enjoyed how we got to alternate chapters between Sydney and Gray. Both characters were well written and had me laughing to myself many times throughout the book.
One of the best things about Sydney's character is that she is who she is and she owns it. There's always something to be said for being yourself and being straight up about it.
This was a quick and easy read and extremely entertaining. I would definitely recommend this book.

Whoa. What an intense ride. In typical Huntley Fitzpatrick style, I was hooked from the very start of this book. I don't want to ruin things for anyone so I'll just say that Tims situation and they way he handles things really shine a light on how these things can go in the real world. Which path do you choose? Are you a better person that you thought? I really loved Tims character and his humour. He was great with Alice too and her struggles were real in this book as well. For me though, Tim was the shining light in all of this, and this book really makes you think about some serious issues in life and how people deal with them. Well done Huntley Fitzpatrick, another winner.

I started reading this and immediately didn't like the writing style. I tried going on for a few pages, but I can't get into books with this kind of writing. Trey's memory at the beginning was explained in what I think was supposed to be a child's point of view, but in my opinion wasn't written well enough to come across in a way that hooks you and makes you hold on.
Trey as an adolescent seems to come across in third person, and although less jumpy, is still written in a writing style I can't get into, or find myself being hooked on.
I like to get hooked into a story right from the start, and this one just doesn't have that feeling, so I'm putting it down. A great theory for a book, and for those who enjoy this writing style, its probably a great story. Just not for me.

Whoa. Just whoa. I don't even know how im going to review this book, but here goes.
What an addictive and amazing story. Right from the start I was hooked. The prologue has Sarah's very vivid recollection of what happened to her parents when she was three. I felt what she was feeling and it was conveyed very well, and written so that it definitely felt it was the thought and memory of an infant.
Once we start from chapter one where Sarah is on her way to Sanctuary Bay Academy, I felt connected with her character. Throughout the book I felt the emotions she was feeling and I wanted to know the things she was curious about herself. Watching her friendships grow with the other people at her school and at different times wanting her to be with one of the two different guys, or to take a different friends side.
Her connection with her friends, especially a particular group once the story goes on, is very intriguing and interesting to watch unfold. What's real happening here and why does she feel like this sometimes?
As this story unfolds more and more mysteries pop up and reveal themselves. You think you're reading about one thing and then BAM, you're actually reading a totally different storyline than you thought. Twists and turns in every corner and mystery that just makes you determined to discover the truth.
I loved all of the characters in this book, particularly Sarah herself (of course) and Ethan and Dr Diaz. The writing style has you hooked right from the get go and makes you want to read through the whole book in one sitting (if only we didn't have to go to work, right?).
The epilogue ends where you can believe there will possibly be a sequel, in which case I cannot wait to read it. Sanctuary Bay, I don't think we've uncovered all your mysteries yet.
I would definitely recommend this book to others, I loved it.

3.5 Stars
This one took me pretty much 3/4 of the book before I actually got involved in the story. It didn't keep me wanting to come back for more, although I did vaguely want to know what happened.
Once the story got towards the end, it really started to pick up pace and pieces started coming together in the mystery of it all. At the end I really wanted to know what was happening and was keen to finish it.
I couldn't really find myself connecting with the story but in theory it's a great idea, but I just couldn't connect with it and maybe it was the writing style. Honestly I'm not really sure. I've read better books but this one was interesting vaguely and I didn't totally hate it, so that's something.

Um wow. I don't really know how articulate a review for this one but I'll try. I was hooked from the beginning with the concept of Jonas filling out an application for a sex club and being given access to other people with the same sexual wants/needs/fantasies, especially at a yearly price as high as that.
I got more intrigued when Sarah sent her correspondence to him and then with their banter from then on. I did find the way he tracked her down a little stalker-ish but I got over it eventually.
Once they finally met up and the storyline rolled along some more I was getting more and more hooked. And those sex scenes. Yikes. Hot as hell. I loved the way things panned out in the end between Sarah and Jonas, and how even in such a small amount of time they really understand each other.
The ending left me intrigued, I wouldn't call it cliff hanger per se, but I really do want to know what happens next.
I enjoyed this one and will read the next.

Harry Bosch. Even retired he knows just what to do to solve a case. This ones an interesting one being that Harry has retired and Mickey wants him to work for him as an investigator - for him, a defense lawyer. Bosch has queries about it and wants to look at the case and see where it leads him before he can commit to anything. He doesn't want to play for the other side now.
As things build momentum and Harry gets on the case, he's his usual self, basically a bull at gate leaving no stone unturned. We all know he likes even the smallest loose ends to be tied up. Harry is damn good at what he does and the thing that keep him going is that if Mickeys client really is innocent, the real killer is still somewhere out there.
Slowly things come together and then it all starts to make a whole lot of sense. Seeing Harry work this from the outside without the power of actually being in law enforcement is quite interesting. Typical Bosch style though, get to the bottom of things he does, and then everything makes sense.
A great book with all the usual quirks of Harry Bosch, returning characters from previous boos in the series, and of course a bit more of Mickey Haller than usual. A must read for all fans of both Bosch and Haller.
Everybody counts or nobody counts. Right?

Yet another great K A Tucker book. I've always liked Ambers character and having this book as her story was a great chance to get to know her more. Being set overseas on Ireland is a treat as well, especially considering its a place I can't wait to visit myself one day. I loved how she let herself fly by the seat of her pants for a while, but still remained the same Amber we all know from the previous books. She doesn't change herself for anyone or anything. I also loved River's character. Such a charmer and his sense of humour was great as well. I also really enjoyed the banter between himself and his family, especially Rowen. Ivy was also a great character to get to know and I know the next book is about her, so I'd like to see how that goes since we didn't really get to see her much at the end of the book.
I hope that the next novel also features Amber and River because as much as the ending of this book was great, I'd love to get a bit more closure about how things are going to pan out in their relationship. I especially loved how we got to see Ambers travel bucket list at the end of the book, and it makes me want to start my own. Great characters, great storyline, loved it. A must read for K A Tuckers fans. Would recommend.

Oh god damn. First we get the Maddox brothers and now we get Josh Avery?? Lordy Lordy Lordy. That man.
This book was amazing! I was in love with Josh and Avery and their relationship and I was waiting for something big to happen but boy just when I thought it had, BOOM! it's totally something else and holy wow what did I just read?!?!?!
Captivated from the very beginning this book had me totally hooked. Love love loved it and highly recommend for Jamie McGuire fans.
I don't want to ruin it for anyone except to say that you'll fall in love with Josh and you'll hanging on every word in this book. Holy wow. Amazing.
